VIEWING GUIDELINES
Once downloaded, HHC Digital should open automatically in Adobe Acrobat Reader, which should be pre-installed on pretty much any computer bought since the 5 1/4" floppy disc BBC Micro days. If you don't have it, click here to get in the game.

HHC Digital is designed to be read comfortably on your computer screen - and looks swelligant if you hit the 'Full Screen' button in Acrobat - but you can also print it out to read on the train/bus/toilet. It'll also work on your iPhone or lesser-branded mobile communications device - and we'll have an optimised version coming soon.

We recommend using Firefox to download it (available here), though there shouldn't be any problems using your browser of choice.

HHC Digital’s Rap Round-Up…
By Richard Watson
With the audio of Mel Gibson’s racially charged rants at his baby mama saturating the web, sensible folk skipped the acres of broadsheet ‘analysis’ and instead sought out the opinion of rappers. Apparently no strangers to the perils of scantily clad girlfriends, Capone N’ Noreaga issued an admirably measured response, [...]

Proving that today’s rappers aren’t oblivious to the big issues, Wale posed the question, ‘What if Tupac had a Twitter account?’ Next week, Wale speculates on how the advent of TiVo recording technology combined with the explosion of cookery shows would have impacted Biggie’s life, and what Big Pun would have [...]

They Reminisce Over Jacko: Live in London, Pete Rock & CL Smooth offered a unique tribute to MJ, with Corey unleashing some distinctly British expletives on a fan unwilling to observe five seconds’ silence for The King of Pop. Afterwards, the Caramel King reflected that, while he enjoyed his latest trip [...]

HHC Digital’s rap round-up…

With the VH1 Hip-Hop Honors celebrating Def Jam’s 25th anniversary, KRS-One offered a more balanced opinion on the label’s legacy, naming it single-handedly responsible for hip-hop’s destruction. Which we don’t think was an actual award. In tangentially related news, it emerged that Def Jam alumnus Foxy Brown may be the [...]

Baatin (Slum Village): RIP (1974-2009)

“Fuck this rap shit – I listen to classical…”
The one and only time I met Baatin was back before the official release of Slum Village’s ‘Fantastic Vol. 2′. It was at a hotel in London, and at 11am on a sun-filled morning Baatin, T3 and myself sat outside on the patio for an interview. I [...]

Having just released possibly 2009’s greatest conceptual rap album that stars two cats from Detroit taking a trip to the ’80s in a very Prince Paul-sounding way – and having most definitely released 2009’s greatest conceptual rap album to feature a recurring role for Dan Marino – HHC Digital checked [...]
