VIEWING GUIDELINES
Once downloaded, HHC Digital should open automatically in Adobe Acrobat Reader, which should be pre-installed on pretty much any computer bought since the 5 1/4" floppy disc BBC Micro days. If you don't have it, click here to get in the game.

HHC Digital is designed to be read comfortably on your computer screen - and looks swelligant if you hit the 'Full Screen' button in Acrobat - but you can also print it out to read on the train/bus/toilet. It'll also work on your iPhone or lesser-branded mobile communications device - and we'll have an optimised version coming soon.

We recommend using Firefox to download it (available here), though there shouldn't be any problems using your browser of choice.

I’m out for presidents to represent me: This week, Jay-Z and the missus popped round Barack’s crib, a cultural convergence that represented either the incredible power of hip-hop in smashing social barriers, or the incredible power of cardigans in rehabilitating the image of a man who once stabbed a peer [...]

dEbruit’s 3D Bump-Hop Revolution

By Phillip Mlynar
Having migrated from France to set up base in London, producer-on-the-rise dEbruit is now looking to take his patented bump-hop sound worldwide. But be forewarned: his super slick sound is best enjoyed with the use of 3D glasses…

Get money! Ras Kass asked fans to cough up a collective $3,800 for the financing of his new album. A $15 dollar donation gets you, um, a copy of the CD, but for $1000 you also get some scribbled ‘Nature Of The Threat’ lyrics, a couple of [...]

Chilly Gonzalez ‘The Pianist’ Mixtape

And now for something completely different… Billed as the world’s first ever piano-mixtape, one time electro-clash bod Chilly Gonzalez has just dropped ‘The Pianist’. Including new takes on Fif’s ‘Many Men’, The Clipse’s ‘Grindin” and Weezy’s ‘A Milli’, you can check it by clicking here.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Nas dropped a verse airing out Kelis and bemoaning the burden that child/spousal support was placing on his wallet. Sure, 52K a month is a little steep, but if Nasir hadn’t gone mad on that dinner plate-sized QB pendant a few years back, he [...]

Rick Ross feat. Lil Wayne & Birdman ‘Veteran’s Day’

Produced by The JUSTICE League, Rick Ross has drafted in Weezy and Baby (who may or may not spend his downtime scribbling graffiti in dingy bar toilets) for the track ‘Veteran’s Day’. Grab it now by clicking here.

Trae feat. Lil Wayne & Rick Ross ‘Inkredible’

From Trae’s upcoming album ‘The Truth’, here’s ‘Inkredible’, featuring heavyweights Weezy and Rick Ross and produced by the Track Bangas’ Mr Inkredible. Click here to check it.

The festive season found two of the stars of classic cut ‘The Show’ back in the limelight for different reasons. Doug E Fresh led the mic-rocking at a special seniors’ night, sorry, ‘Legends of Hip-Hop’ event at Ben E King’s, while Teddy Riley was accused of threatening to kill his daughters [...]

9/11 Is A Joke. Apparently

The other day a link to a rap-related Washington Post typo was passed around the Twitter-net. It concerned a journalist who apparently mistook Public Enemy’s emergency services rant, ‘911 Is A Joke’, for, er, an anti-9/11 song. Which is both pretty hilarious and pretty troubling for anyone who’s been listening to hip-hop for longer than, [...]

They Reminisce Over Jacko: Live in London, Pete Rock & CL Smooth offered a unique tribute to MJ, with Corey unleashing some distinctly British expletives on a fan unwilling to observe five seconds’ silence for The King of Pop. Afterwards, the Caramel King reflected that, while he enjoyed his latest trip [...]
