VIEWING GUIDELINES
Once downloaded, HHC Digital should open automatically in Adobe Acrobat Reader, which should be pre-installed on pretty much any computer bought since the 5 1/4" floppy disc BBC Micro days. If you don't have it, click here to get in the game.
HHC Digital is designed to be read comfortably on your computer screen - and looks swelligant if you hit the 'Full Screen' button in Acrobat - but you can also print it out to read on the train/bus/toilet. It'll also work on your iPhone or lesser-branded mobile communications device - and we'll have an optimised version coming soon.
We recommend using Firefox to download it (available here), though there shouldn't be any problems using your browser of choice.

HHC Digital’s rap round-up…

My posse’s on Broadway: Clearly gunning for the title of Hip-hop’s Andrew Lloyd Webber, RZA announced his desire to bring 36 Chambers to the stage. Great news for hip-hop heads disappointed by Wicked’s extremely loose interpretation of Ice Cube’s oeuvre, and roll on the West End version with Jonathan Wilkes [...]

Sole Saliva: This week, it was with justifiable pride that Fat Joe looked back on the most important and influential act of his career: tonguing down the sole of his Air Jordan on MTV Cribs. “If you catch yourself in the mirror licking the bottom of your sneaker… just know [...]

Children’s Story: Seemingly intent on outdoing Jim Jones’ recent cameo in the classroom, Swizz Beatz adopted a Bronx arts school − his first move was kitting the music lab out with a load of Bontempi organs damaged during the making of ‘Money, Cash, Hoes’. Meanwhile, when not hyping a [...]

Making mad money off the book this year: In news that surely had George Pelecanos and Richard Price reeling, the official synopsis for Styles P’s debut novel Invincible hit the web. Pinero’s literary opus concerns a record store owner who, in jail for shooting two stick-up kids, receives a message [...]

Above The Clouds: In the wake of Guru’s tragic passing, the web was inevitably awash with tributes, the most significant and sincere coming from Guru’s brother Harry and a typically nimble-wristed Premo, who also broke his silence on Guru’s controversial cohort Solar. Dusting off a classic Gang Starr instrumental, [...]

As the calendar’s most gag-heavy date rolled around again, NORE made his position on April Fools’ Day pranks clear: whoopIe cushions are a timeless classic, but pretending that people’s loved ones have been killed is going too far. Elsewhere, in news that was initially assumed by many to be an [...]

Pop champagne like we won The Championship: Proving that his bank account goes considerably deeper than his knowledge of English football, Diddy threw his name into the bidding for beleaguered Crystal Palace. And lest you think that Mr Combs simply wants to bring Sean John tracksuits to Selhurst Park, apparently [...]

Just Do It! Two west coast legends were repping for the Swoosh this week, as DJ Quik lent an assist to NBA rap troupe the Hyperizers and Ice Cube supplied a classic track and a comedy cameo for a nifty Paul Rodriguez skate ad. Meanwhile, Snoop was given a [...]

In 1994, HHC placed a bet that, by 2010, Memphis horrorcore upstarts Three 6 Mafia would have both an Oscar and their own cookery show. Sorry, Ladbrokes. Meanwhile, in TV news we didn’t prophesise in the nine-fo’, Ice Cube parlayed his Are We There Yet? family film franchise [...]

Who got the juice? Styles P, apparently, as the D-Blocker dropped nutritional gems live from his local juice bar. Meanwhile, over at Hollis Famous Burgers, the air was thick with jubilation (and fried onions, probably) as local lad DMC brought back the silverware. That’s Run DMC’s Hall of [...]
