VIEWING GUIDELINES
Once downloaded, HHC Digital should open automatically in Adobe Acrobat Reader, which should be pre-installed on pretty much any computer bought since the 5 1/4" floppy disc BBC Micro days. If you don't have it, click here to get in the game.
HHC Digital is designed to be read comfortably on your computer screen - and looks swelligant if you hit the 'Full Screen' button in Acrobat - but you can also print it out to read on the train/bus/toilet. It'll also work on your iPhone or lesser-branded mobile communications device - and we'll have an optimised version coming soon.
We recommend using Firefox to download it (available here), though there shouldn't be any problems using your browser of choice.

HHC Digital’s rap round-up…

Leader of the new school: In news that read like a real life, hip-hop version of Dead Poets Society, Jim Jones announced that Dipset will definitely be in the staff room when he takes up a gig as – it says here − a teacher. Mr Jones promised to give [...]

I’m out for presidents to represent me: This week, Jay-Z and the missus popped round Barack’s crib, a cultural convergence that represented either the incredible power of hip-hop in smashing social barriers, or the incredible power of cardigans in rehabilitating the image of a man who once stabbed a peer [...]

This week, Lupe Fiasco admitted to having philosophical differences with his label: apparently, those bastards don’t view Lupe giving college lectures or upping kids’ self esteem as a legitimate return on their investment. Surely hoping for a return on his investment, meanwhile, Will I Am hit upon the brainwave [...]

Get money! Ras Kass asked fans to cough up a collective $3,800 for the financing of his new album. A $15 dollar donation gets you, um, a copy of the CD, but for $1000 you also get some scribbled ‘Nature Of The Threat’ lyrics, a couple of [...]

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Nas dropped a verse airing out Kelis and bemoaning the burden that child/spousal support was placing on his wallet. Sure, 52K a month is a little steep, but if Nasir hadn’t gone mad on that dinner plate-sized QB pendant a few years back, he [...]

Boot Camp is for the children! Sean Price this week revealed that he’ll simultaneously be entertaining his fans and stockpiling swag for his unborn daughter when he throws a hip-hop’s first baby shower slash live performance. You’ll need a gift for the soon-come sprog to get in, but don’t even [...]

Never one to avoid either the spotlight or the caps lock button, Kanye West blogged against critics of the pelt-centric ensembles he and his lass have been flossing lately, and insisted that, post-Obama, black folks are denying their love of fur coats, fried chicken and red leather. “I CAN HEAR [...]

Hard to believe that life could throw up any more cruel surprises for the kids orphaned in the Haiti earthquake tragedy, but it emerged this week that one of them could be getting Trina for a mother. Meanwhile, Russell Simmons defended Wyclef’s much-scrutinised Yele for Haiti charity and there [...]

There was no doubt about this week’s hardest hitting headline as Kwame dropped the bombshell that he’s never seen Coming to America or Friday, despite owning both movies on DVD. He’s also got the entire box set of Jeeves & Wooster, which he swears he’ll get round to watching one [...]

Who’s up for Coco? With the nation feeling the freeze, Ice-T and the old trouble and strife warmed up Britain – and, indeed, Fern Britton – on All Star Mr & Mrs. Meanwhile, back in snow-free LA, Tracy’s old mucker Ice Cube mean-mugged Conan O’Brien and Snoop moonlighted as [...]
