VIEWING GUIDELINES
Once downloaded, HHC Digital should open automatically in Adobe Acrobat Reader, which should be pre-installed on pretty much any computer bought since the 5 1/4" floppy disc BBC Micro days. If you don't have it, click here to get in the game.

HHC Digital is designed to be read comfortably on your computer screen - and looks swelligant if you hit the 'Full Screen' button in Acrobat - but you can also print it out to read on the train/bus/toilet. It'll also work on your iPhone or lesser-branded mobile communications device - and we'll have an optimised version coming soon.

We recommend using Firefox to download it (available here), though there shouldn't be any problems using your browser of choice.

Pintsize

The latest to stagger out of the east London scene, Pintsize is set to take his hip-hop drunkie styles and everyman persona to the masses. We checked in with the man in-between pints…

As a representative of east London, what are your top three pubs in the area?
“[Laughs] That is legendary! Alright, let’s think… That’s a really good question. For east London, it’s got to be The Blind Beggar in Whitechapel, The Rhythm Factory in Aldgate East, and I like my cheap and cheerful Whetherspoons in Stratford – wherever there’s a Whetherspoons I’m there; I’m a cheap guy all the way. There’s also another pub called Jolly Angler’s but that’s in Wood Green. I think one day I’ll open a pub called The Pints Inn.”

When was the last time you were completely drunk?
“Last night. I remember going out… and I remember waking up! The morning after the night before, woke up naked outside the front door kind of thing… I’ve actually got a couple of songs about my crazy nights out. In fact you lot should come and join me sometime [laughs]. I’m going to give you the inside lane on this: This summer I’m starting The Pintsize Pub Crawl! Picture it: One day, me performing a short set down a local boozer for my peeps, we have a few drinks, get merry and then move on to the next pub and do it again… and again… until I can’t perform no more [laughs].”

How would you describe yourself drunk in three words?
“Nutty, but then that’s me 24/7; chatty because I’ll chat to anyone mate, I’m a bit like that; and sick… literally sick.”

You have a free download on the site called ‘Get the Rounds In’. What’s the most expensive round you’ve ever paid for?
“£26.”

How would you describe your rap style?
“Outrageous, free-spirited and tongue-in-cheek ‘cos anything goes. I call it cockney rhyme.”

How has being from east London affected the music you make?
“It has had a massive affect, people clock where I’m from straight away because I rap/sing like I talk… East London in my days, people were doing before they were thinking if you know what I mean. I don’t think when I write – I just do it. I talk about what I know and mix it with stuff that I’ve dreamed up, but to be honest mate, my life is like a Jerry Springer type scandal so I don’t think I’ll be running out of song writing material any time soon.”

You talk about “getting on stage and taking the piss out of myself” at shows. What sort of things do you joke about when doing a show?
“For example, my up and coming single ‘Average Guy’ is about me taking the piss out of my current financial status. Like I talk about my oyster card being the broke man’s car key. When I perform it, I’ll do random stuff like take my hat off and start begging for change. People put all sorts in my hat… Girls even drop their numbers in there.”

What else do you have coming up, music-wise, for the rest of the year?
“Wow, a lot! Okay, we’ve got my ‘Average Guy’ video out now on youtube.com/ChannelPintsize. The single’s getting released 14th September – that’s a digital and mobile release. I’ve got a couple of other releases later in the year too, ‘The GIG…’ coming up on 15th July; check the MySpace account for that. Also my mixtape you mentioned, ‘Get The Rounds In…’ is available as a free download from my website. If I’ve forgotten anything, you can keep up to date with me on Facebook: Pintsize, and you can follow me on Twitter: PintsizeLife.”
