VIEWING GUIDELINES
Once downloaded, HHC Digital should open automatically in Adobe Acrobat Reader, which should be pre-installed on pretty much any computer bought since the 5 1/4" floppy disc BBC Micro days. If you don't have it, click here to get in the game.

HHC Digital is designed to be read comfortably on your computer screen - and looks swelligant if you hit the 'Full Screen' button in Acrobat - but you can also print it out to read on the train/bus/toilet. It'll also work on your iPhone or lesser-branded mobile communications device - and we'll have an optimised version coming soon.

We recommend using Firefox to download it (available here), though there shouldn't be any problems using your browser of choice.

HHC Digital’s weekly online rap news round-up…
By Richard Watson

Word to G Rap, Riker’s Island hit the hip-hop headlines this week. First, it was reported that during a 2006 in-clink gig, Papoose gave Blood prisoners the coded cue to slash their enemies, opting for Blood hand signals after a proposed medley of ‘Are We Cutting’?’, ‘This Cut’s Got Flavor’, ‘Go Cut Creator Go’ and Bryan Adams’ ‘Cuts Like a Knife’ was deemed too confusing. Then, Rikers reps denied pampering Foxy Brown. Alright, so the designer gear was apparently Inga’s own, but HHC Digital hears that Foxy also mysteriously acquired a Desmond Douglas signature table tennis bat while other inmates had those hard joints with no foam rubber.

Tru-Life is likely facing his own stint behind bars after being arrested on felony murder and weapon charges. Is it too glib to say that, if found guilty, the rapper could be facing a Tru-Life sentence? Meanwhile, Tru’s old foe Jim Jones LOL-ed off reports that he’d sanctioned a mixtape for the already incarcerated Max B (and been dropped by Columbia), and in other gulliness news, the Black Eyed Pea’s manager got retarded on Perez Hilton.

On the new music front, The Roots used their gig as Jimmy Fallon’s house band to debut ‘How I Got Over’ − isn’t this the showbiz equivalent of running a second business from your desk? Saigon dropped a Cordero-helmed video, while Curtis didn’t seem overly impressed by Drake’s radio-assisted buzz… Elsewhere, Khujo helped big-up the Willie Isz album by revealing how original Atlanta gangsta rap pioneers The Hard Boys weren’t feeling his ‘lumberjack vibe’ back in the day.

Speaking of buzzes, a certain Mr Aldrin hooked up with Snoop and Talib Kweli to amusing effect, while Regis and Kelly got a turntable tutorial from DJ-JS1. The week’s real jaw-dropper though was Hurricane Chris kicking that Halle Berry song in the Louisiana State of House Representatives. At least he dressed smartly.
