VIEWING GUIDELINES
Once downloaded,
HHC Digital should open automatically in Adobe Acrobat Reader, which should be pre-installed on pretty much any computer bought since the 5 1/4" floppy disc BBC Micro days. If you don't have it, click
here to get in the game.
HHC Digital is designed to be read comfortably on your computer screen - and looks swelligant if you hit the 'Full Screen' button in Acrobat - but you can also print it out to read on the train/bus/toilet. It'll also work on your iPhone or lesser-branded mobile communications device - and we'll have an optimised version coming soon.
We recommend using Firefox to download it (available
here), though there shouldn't be any problems using your browser of choice.

I’ll miss the lovely binding and laminated cover… but I’m glad to see that HHC is still alive and well.
Funny shape, though…
doom is a clown..
who the hell is ivan ives?! joker….
nice read but that dont look like DOOM to me… sorry
ive been getting the mag for 11 years,
digital magazine?what a joke, cant believe youve done this
Great idea to do this digitally. It looks great. Now if only you could tell me how to scan these old Source magazines faster!
Ha ha, “here with the dog”!
good lookin, print some classic ‘connections’!
Lovin’ the prospect of seeing behind the scenes at Breakin’ next time. Is this for real or a wind up? I guess it’s being done, cos as Shabba Doo reminds us, Breakin’ is about to have it’s 25th anniversary, right?
Great start launch wise,
MikeDee
Ghee -
You hang with Doom often then?
I like the idea but I think this is a work in progress. Articles and writing quality is bang on as usual and although I am not a massive Doom fan the article was very good and will make me try harder to get him. Negatives are that I don’t like the page shape. I was hoping that you would use a style that replicates the previous version of the mags layout magazine style so it’s printable. Perhaps a good opportunity to adopt a retro hip hop magazine style using more black and white? (those first editions of the Source anyone?)Surely you could set out the mag in exactly the same way as before and post the A4 page pdfs that you would have sent to the printers in the olden days of paper and ink. I understand that the current style allows for optimium clarity when Reading it off the screen but it limits the amount of info you have on each page and leaves the pages feeling kind of unimpressive. Also I can’t get over the issue that reading a static image off the screen makes me want to skip through it quickly to avoid screen burn on my eyes. Even if I don’t want to print it out, Scrolling keeps the page moving so you don’t get the same effect on your eyes. Finally, only 7 album reviews, no mixtapes, no ancient Britain, far less content and regular columns than the old mag all round, if I’am going to look forward to this every month then I am going to need more stuff to get excited about – you guys had it absolutely nailed at HHC in the last couple of years at the mag, You need to try and recreate that in Digital! That said I am being a bit harsh given that I am guessing its been a bit of a crazy time for you lot in the past couple of months. Just thought you might like some feedback from a long time HHC reader with too many opinions for his own good! Peace and good luck – you guys are a cornerstone of the UK hip hop scene and need to survive whatever the cost!
Liking this (for free!), reads easy and dooms a character..

Yup, it’s for real – will be up on the site to download on May 1st. Lots of good stuff lined up for the next few The Originals too…
Nice up Ghost – uk producer on the rise. Not a fan of those guys in purple and yellow though – something ain’t right there
AIN’T MF DOOM LOOKS NOTHING LIKE HIM
The photos are not of DOOM unless he got hair implants. Atleast they didn’t have to print the photos to release the magazine. Mad funny! Soon no one is going to know what he looks.
it is him. and that’s a hat he’s wearing, not hair.
ignore that. HE HAS HAIR!!!!!!! can’t be him..
It looks like DOOM – anyone would with that mask on. I even thought it was him one time when I watched gladiator til I realised it was Russell the Crowe.
I very much like the shape because I don’t have to scroll to read pages – very nice and good thinking batmans.
just read it on lunch – better than i thought for an online mag. liking the DOOM interview though hw sounds a bit mental
sorry, but freddie foxxx is one of the hardest rappers out there, dont care what you say
Are we sure that it’s even DOOM rapping on the album?!
Like to see more UK in there but all good – at least it aint bloody lil wayne again
UK’s fasteest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FID44G55sik
Big ups!
I like the layout, as someone who reads on the computer. I don’t have to scroll down at all, it takes advantage of all the space on the screen, the letters are big enough to read without having to zoom in.
Only suggestion (as if you were asking for them, hah) would be I guess to accommodate those who want to print it out by making it proportional to regular 8.5×11 printer paper so they can print it in Landscape mode.
Hey,
Glad you’re appreciating the page layout – it’s a bit different at first but designed to accomodate reading on a computer screen or phone with the least hassle.
It should also print snugly on a piece of A4 at 100% in landscape though we’ll look into this asap – anyone else having problems printing at A4 please holler – we’ll also add some printing guidelines to the FAQ with the quickness.
Cheers!
DOOM HAS NO HAIR

Sorry, but…doesn’t hair usually GROW? With me, I can shave it all off but within a couple of weeks, there it is again! I wonder if DOOM has the same problem.

LOL!!!!!! u can tell who’s really seen Doom and who’s just a fan(atic) loooooool!! Doom doesn’t have hair as in bald spots…hahahahah also anyone who has seen the imposter shows knows who that is in the pics. He definitely rhymed on the album and he is actually working on new shit, but as far as who u see (or think u see) trust me NONE of YOU have seen the real DOOM in a few yrs. NO Matter WHAT u think or NO matter who u think knows something has told u, and that’s all I’m gonna say about it……..
Better than a poster, it’ll actually be a hologram – all thanks to the power of the internets.

So who is it in the pics?
What’s DOOM really up to these days then?
Too funny. Well, I hate to burst the bubbles, but it’s DOOM. I waited around for several hours, having surrendered my phone to the ‘cops’ posted outside the rented out venue, while the interview went down. I went in, surrounded by a masked entourage and spent a while working with him. Trust me, It was DOOM – a drunken DOOM, but DOOM.
I bet he was drnking a pina colada
Yo DOOM – You heard about Greydon Square yet? get at him. you guys need to link up and put a hot one out there. He produces with Traumah out of PHX. Hollar if your in the area.
looking foward to that new kurious, for sure. need to be a resugence of those cats from the 90s who were doing it but never felt the need to sell out. doom, kurious, ditc, camp lo, lets go!
Prince Be haz also BEEN working on sum dope new SHit, but trust me, NONE of YOU have seen the real Prince Be for about TWO decades. I don’t care WHO told you, even if it was your mum or Max LX or SUMFIN. TRUST me, i know SOMEthing U lot don’t know, but I’m NOT going to tell you what it is. So THERE.
I didn’t quite mean a Prince Be comeback!
Doom album growing on me, but i dont think its a classic yet. he needs to get that madvillain 2 done and dusted!
whens that kurious coming?
fat boss and alladat and out
